We do not have permission to use property images from Rightmove or Zoopla. These images are owned by the estate agents and portals, and displaying them outside their platforms would violate their terms of service.

Instead, we use AI-generated illustrated placeholders that represent the property type (detached, terraced, flat, etc.). These give you a visual sense of the home style without infringing on anyone's intellectual property. When you want to see the actual photos, simply click through to the listing on Rightmove or Zoopla.

Nookaly is a Chrome browser extension that analyses every London property you view on Rightmove and Zoopla. It appears as a sidebar alongside the listing, giving you personalised scores, commute analysis, area insights, and AI-powered property assessments — all without leaving the page.

Nookaly currently works with Rightmove and Zoopla. It detects when you're on a property listing or search results page and automatically provides insights in the side panel.

Currently, yes. Nookaly covers London properties with full commute analysis, area data, and transit routing. We're working on expanding to other UK cities — more locations are coming soon.

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome".
2. Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access.
3. Open Rightmove or Zoopla and click the Nookaly icon to open the side panel.
4. Complete the quick setup wizard (about 3 minutes) to set your preferences.

When you first open Nookaly, you'll be guided through a setup wizard that covers:

• Your household — Number of adults, children, pets, and life stage
• Budget & basics — Min/max budget, minimum bedrooms and bathrooms
• Home style — Property types, tenure, condition, garden, and parking
• What matters — Weight sliders for 10 scoring factors (commute, value, space, safety, energy, light, broadband, relative value, air quality, quietness)
• Must-haves & deal breakers — Desired features, deal breakers, and free-text requirements
• Commute destinations — Up to 8 destinations with transport mode, max time, and frequency

You can update any of these later from the Settings menu inside the extension.

When you're on a Rightmove or Zoopla page, click the Nookaly icon in your Chrome toolbar. The side panel will open alongside the listing. It stays open as you browse between properties, automatically updating with each new listing.

Every property gets a personalised score from 0–100 based on the weights you set during setup. The score factors in:

• Commute — Travel time to your saved destinations
• Budget Value — How well the price fits your budget
• Living Space — Floor area relative to your household size
• Safety — Local crime rates
• Energy (EPC) — Energy efficiency rating
• Natural Light — Window orientation and daylight potential
• Broadband — Available internet speeds
• Relative Value — Price per sqm vs. local sold prices
• Air Quality — Local pollution levels
• Quietness — Noise from traffic, rail, and density

The basic score is a quick first-pass that filters out properties that don't meet your hard requirements (budget, bedrooms, bathrooms, commute limits) and ranks the rest against your weights. It does not factor in desired features or free-text requirements — those are used by the personalised AI analysis.

Basic AI Analysis provides a general AI-generated assessment of the property covering condition, layout, and local area. It's available for every property at no cost.

Personalised "For You" Analysis goes further by factoring in your specific preferences, budget, household, commute needs, must-haves, and deal breakers. It provides tailored insights about how well a property matches your exact requirements. This requires a Pro subscription or pay-per-use credit.

During setup, you add up to 8 commute destinations (office, school, gym, family, etc.) with a postcode, transport mode, maximum acceptable time, and how often you travel there. For each property you view, Nookaly calculates:

• Journey time — Real transit routes by tube, bus, rail, car, or cycling
• Step-by-step route — Walking legs, transfers, and individual segment times
• CQI (Commute Quality Index) — A stress score factoring duration, crowding, transfers, and reliability
• Single fare — Estimated one-way cost
• Annual cost — Total yearly commute cost based on your travel frequency

Each destination shows whether the journey is within your target time or exceeds it.

The Search tab offers three ways to find properties:

• Platform Search — When you're on a Rightmove or Zoopla search results page, Nookaly scores every visible listing and ranks them by your preferences.
• Text Search — Describe what you want in plain English (e.g. "3-bed terraced house near good schools with a garden") and Nookaly finds matching properties from its database using AI.
• Discovery — AI-curated suggestions from areas you haven't explored yet, scored to your preferences. Pro users get 3 picks from 1 area daily; Pro+ gets 10 picks from 3 areas.

Star any property to save it to your Favourites. Your saved properties are ranked by score, and you can rename them for easy reference.

With Pro or Pro+, you can use the AI Comparison tool to compare your shortlisted homes side-by-side. The AI generates detailed pros, cons, value analysis, and a final recommendation to help you decide.

The Area tab provides comprehensive local area data for each property, including:

• Demographics — Population, age distribution, and household types
• Crime statistics — Local crime rates and types
• Broadband speeds — Available internet speeds in the area
• Flood risk — Surface water and river flooding risk levels
• Deprivation indices — Income, employment, education, and health deprivation
• Planning applications — Nearby planning activity

The Maps tab provides an interactive map centred on the property with nearby points of interest. You can toggle categories to show or hide:

• Transport links (tube, rail, bus stops)
• Schools and nurseries
• Supermarkets and shops
• Parks and green spaces
• Healthcare (GPs, hospitals, pharmacies)
• Restaurants and cafes

Open Nookaly's side panel and go to Settings. You'll see your current plan and options to upgrade or manage your subscription. Billing is handled securely through Stripe, and you can access the billing portal to update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel.

Yes! Eligible users can start a 3-day free trial of Pro features. During the trial, you get access to unlimited AI searches, personalised analyses (with a trial cap), and portfolio comparison. No payment required to start the trial.

Go to Settings in the Nookaly side panel and look for the privacy section. You can request account deletion, which schedules your data for removal. You can also export all your data before deleting. We comply fully with GDPR.

Make sure you're on a Rightmove or Zoopla page. Click the Nookaly icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the side panel. If the icon isn't visible, click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome to find Nookaly and pin it to your toolbar.

Try refreshing the page. If data still doesn't load, check that the property is within London (our current coverage area). Some newly listed properties may take a few moments to be analysed. If the issue persists, contact us at support@nookaly.co.uk.
